About Us

Christleton Cricket Club is a non-profit making, well-established and ambitious village club with strong family and community links. Christleton have been playing cricket at various locations in Christleton since 1870. We moved to our current location in 1975 and with the aid of grants and volunteers we built a new pavilion and grounds. Along with 3 open age teams we have a thriving junior section of 100+ youngsters.

The Club is run and maintained by hard-working dedicated volunteers.

Joining Message

All are welcome to come and join the club. We have junior teams from under 9, up to under 19s. The Junior section is brilliantly managed by James who has responsibility for ages 9-15. Junior coaching takes place at the club on Monday evenings with at least one qualified level 2 coach per age group. Under 13 and 15 games are on Sunday morning, and the other age groups play either on Monday evening, or in the week. Their contact details are above.

Our intermediate  and U19 teams are managed and coached by Mark, playing home games on Thursday evenings.

There are currently 3 open age teams: the 1st and 2nd team compete on Saturdays in the Cheshire County and Cheshire leagues, with the 3rds playing on Sunday. We have summer training sessions on both Tuesday and Thursday  evenings (weather and games permitting). Speak to Mark on 07778 460590 if you want to know any more information.
