Christleton visitors to league leaders Cheadle lost the toss and inserted first.

Christleton got off to a disastrous start losing four wickets with only 31 on the board. De Silva (87) was joined by Josh Morgan-Jones (45) and together took the score to much more respectable 157 when Morgan-Jones dragged on off the bowling of Brown (4-56).

Christleton eventually all out for 189 from only 46.2 overs, leaving Cheadle to get 190 from 53 overs.

The visitors got off to a good start with the early wicket of Prince (13) off the bowling of Johnson (1-20). Reid (32) joined Dixon (35) at the crease and took the score to 85 when Coulson (1-30) had Dixon LBW quickly followed by Reid C & B Naseer (2-45).

Christleton appeared back in the game when de Silva (2-29) joined the attack and reduced Cheadle to 6-140, but Sperring (54no) and Holmes (23no) saw the leaders home with 4 balls left.
