A beautiful sunny day greeted the new season.

Unfortunately the 1st XI lost at home to Alvanley and the 2nd XI were defeated by Appleton. Inside the clubhouse it was very busy all day.  It was great to see so many people down at the ground.  Junior Registration took place, followed by Chairman Mike Hollindale making a presentation of a handmade swan to Arthur Broster. Arthur first joined Christleton in 1946 and has supported the Club as a Captain, Player, Scorer and all round committed Club Life Member.
